Have you ever been curious about how learning spaces of other museums/galleries look like and operate? Well, now is your chance to peek behind the curtain as Science Gallery Melbourne and Islamic Museum of Australia have agreed to give us a behind the scenes tour of their learning spaces!
These FREE tours offer museum educators and teachers a chance to see how two different institutions approach learning environments.
You will have the chance to observe how these spaces are set up to encourage curiosity and support learning, see practical storage solutions, understand the learning module design process, and possibly gather ideas for your own educational practices. Staff from each institution will be around to answer questions you may have about their spaces and learning programs.
These tours also provide a wonderful opportunity to connect with other educators in Victoria.
