Victoria: The Education State
Help shape the Victorian Museum Education sector response to the Department of Education and Training’s goal to establish Victoria as the Education State.
MA ENVi is holding a meeting this Friday (3.30PM 24 July 2015) at the State Library of Victoria to to collect feedback from OUR sector and draft a response to the Education State Consultation Paper. In particular, we wish to respond to Question 9 (on page 12) of the Conversation Workbook:
What opportunities exist in our communities for learning outside of the formal education system, for example in our libraries, museums and community centres?
A limited number of places are available for this meeting. If you would like to attend please email Peter Hoban at phoban@sovereignhill.com.au.
Alternatively, you can send your written responses to Peter (or leave your feedback below).
The state government commissioned report that came out of the consultation is available here: http://www.education.vic.gov.au/about/educationstate/Pages/vision.aspx
