Evaluating education programs in cultural organisations

Host: State Library Victoria, Door 3 La Trobe Street Melbourne

When: Tuesday 28 March 2017

Time: 2:30pm (for optional tour), PD event 3pm – 5pm

This is a FREE professional development afternoon for educators from organisations involved in the annual Melbourne City Experience event and from the wider ENVi network.

How does your team evaluate its education programs and student outcomes?

Is evaluation your strong point or something you’re still figuring out?

How do you collect visitor feedback and interpret the data?

This PD event welcomes educators working in cultural organisations who are keen to learn more about how other teams evaluate their programs, or are keen to share their own evaluation processes.

Hear staff from State Library Victoria, DOXA and Museum Victoria talk about evaluation projects they have undertaken and are working towards. Attendees are encouraged to add to the conversation by sharing evaluation materials (such as feedback surveys or data) and anecdotes from their organisations.

All are welcome for an optional tour of the Library at 2:30pm (meeting in foyer), before the event start at 3pm (meeting at Door 3 on the La Trobe street side of the Library).
