Travellers’ Tales 2017

Three GLAM professionals share their insights and experiences visiting international museums and galleries this year. They hold nothing back to tell us what they loved and loathed and their presentations are designed to inspire, educate and inform. This evening includes an introductory tour of the Islamic Museum of Australia and light refreshments.

This year’s travellers are: 

  • Monica Cronin, Curator at Geoffrey Kaye Museum of Anaesthetic History, Australian and New Zealand College of Anaesthetists (ANZCA) will discuss her observations of American museums.
  • Erin Santamari, Costume Manager at Sovereign Hill will share about her trip to Northern Europe.
  • Kathy Hendy-Ekers, Curriculum Manager, Visual Arts & Media, Victorian Curriculum & Assessment Authority will share her experiences of an Art Gallery of NSW organized tour of Uzbekistan.
