Many cultural organisations seek to provide purposeful and relevant educational materials for schools.

This program will look at best practice as defined by experts and practitioners alike.

  • What content and modes of delivery are most sought after by schools?
  • How can cultural organisations make their resources accessible to school audiences?
  • How have other institutions gone about delivering powerful resources?

Guest speakers include Annabel Astbury from ABC Education and Rachel Crellin from Department of Education and Training FUSE who will address: What’s hot and what’s not.

  • Practicing classroom teachers will explain what resources they like and how they find them.
  • Cultural organisations will present case studies about resources that have worked for them.

  1. Hi there thanks for organising! Just wondering if there is a limit of participants per SPP current funded organisation? We have a few in our team who are interested in attending.

  2. Here are some Visual Arts projects I worked on with students and artists whilst at Heide:
    • The Sanctuary Project with Louise Saxton https://vimeo.com/47902442
    • The Nature Culture Project with Fiona Hall https://vimeo.com/73201868

And some Visual Arts learning resources commissioned by the SongRoom and Educational Services Australia:
    • Keepsake (with Lucy Irvine) http://www.artslive.com.au/explore/visual-art-starters/keepsake
    • Concrete Poetry (with Alex Selenitsch) artslive.com.au/explore/bring-poetry-alive/concrete-poetry
    • Funfair High (Callum Morton) artslive.com.au/explore/manipulating-digital-media/funfair-high
