What a year‽
Date: | Thursday, 10 December 2020 |
Time: | 4 to 5pm |
2020 was the year that kept on giving. Never in our wildest dreams did anyone think it might work out like this one.
Bushfires, Megxit, Brexit, impeachment, Parasite, no Summer Olympics, #BlackLivesMatter (still), #I’mSpeaking, Zoom, #DontDateADaryl, NASA-SpaceX, murder hornets, #DonutDay, Twitter hacks, no-Vic Footy, Beirut explosion Vincent Namatjira won the Archibald Prize and you-know-what.
We lost RBG, Helen Reddy, Eddie Van Halen, Chadwick Boseman, Susan Ryan, Kim Jong Un, Kobe Bryant, Tim Brooke-Taylor, John Lewis, Olivia de Havilland, Kelly Preston, Jerry Stiller, Kirk Douglas, Fred Willard, Jackie Stalone and Ennio Morricone (to name just a few).
Normally at this time of year ENVi would host ‘Travellers Tales’, but that didn’t work out. So instead, we’re hosting a round table for our last Silver Linings program.
We have lined up a few guests to tell us their good, the bad and the ugly of 2020 and get the conversation rolling.
- Emma Fellows-Cooke, Education Program Leader at Coal Creek Community Park and Museum
- Stephanie Rosestone, Engagement, Learning and Programs Manager at National Wool Museum
- Luci Marcuzzi, Gallery Programs Officer and Antonette Zema, Arts and Culture Development Manager at Mildura Arts Centre
- and others
